In the Fine Silver Collection each piece is created from Precious MetalClay (PMC).

These pieces are .999 fine silver, the purest form of silver that money can buy!!

The jewellery from the fine silver collection is perfect for people with allergies because the silver is almost 100% pure.  Sterling silver has only 92.5% silver content, the other 7.5% is made up of base metals.  It is the added metals in plated metals and occasionally 925 sterling silver that cause the skin to react.

 

 

What is PMC?

Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a revolutionary material developed and patented by Mitsubishi Materials of Japan. Tiny particles of pure silver or gold are suspended in an organic binder to create a material that can be worked like modelling clay.

Finished pieces are fired in a kiln to 900°C (1750°F) to burn off the binder and fuse the metal. The result is a solid, 99.9%-100% pure silver or gold object.
